The founder of Leaders Real Estate Robert Garlick has pleaded guilty to hitting a young man on a pedestrian crossing last year. Garlick appeared in Wellington District Court on Thursday and admitted the charge of careless driving causing injury. His lawyer Val Nisbet asked Wellington District Court judge Bruce Davidson not to enter a conviction as he intended to ask for a discharge without conviction.
