A young woman was rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle near Pharmacy and Danforth avenues on Sunday. Paramedics say the victim suffered a serious head injury after being struck at about 6:20 p.m., and was rushed to a nearby trauma centre. Police had said earlier the victim was 12 years old. She is thought to be about 18 years old.
