A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and critically injured in Montgomery County Saturday night, authorities said. The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. in the 500 block of Hungerford Drive, according to Pete Piringer, spokesman for the county fire and rescue service. Hungerford Drive is a major thoroughfare in downtown Rockville area.
