Toronto police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by the driver of a vehicle Friday evening. The incident occurred on Signet Drive and High Meadow Place. The woman was taken to the hospital after suffering serious injuries, Toronto police said in a tweet. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, Toronto police confirmed in an email. Signet Drive is closed from Finch Avenue West to Fenmar Drive for investigation.
