A 57-year-old pedestrian died on the spot on NICE Road, near Bannerghatta Road, when a container lorry ran over him on Friday evening. A case has been registered at Hulimavu police station. Babaji Mallik (57), who sustained head injuries, died on the spot, said Hulimavu traffic police. The body was shifted to Victoria Hospital. The driver is absconding.
