A pedestrian, aged in his 40s, has died after being hit by a car in Co Kildare, bringing the total of people who have died on Irish roads so far this year to 190. Gardaí and emergency services are currently in attendance at the scene of the fatal collision on the R445 in Co Kildare this evening.
