PETALING JAYA: Women's doubles shuttlers Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah's run in the Indian Open ended in the semi-finals after they lost to Japan's Yuki Fukushima-Mayu Matsumoto. Pearly-Thinaah struggled to raise their game and went down 16-21, 13-21 in 46 minutes at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi on Saturday (Jan 17). It was the world No. 2 pair's fourth defeat to their world No. The defeat ended Pearly-Thinaah's hopes of making it into the final in the competition for the first time.
