Forget paywave, Kiwi payment company Paymark is experimenting with facial recognition technology to create an "invisible payment experience". Paymark, the operator of eftpos, will move into Spark's 5G innovation lab by the end of April to use the latest wireless network to test its facial recognition technology. Paymark's strategy and innovation manager Michael McFadden said facial recognition payment could do away with payment terminals.
