Addressing the press, Deputy Finance Minister under the John Mahama-led administration stressed the need for government to make available cash deposits to investors and not bonds. He argued that funds paid to depositors will lose their value at the end of the payment period due to inflation. We will hold the presidency and stakeholders accountable to make sure that cash rather than bonds are used to settle investors”. Ato Forson further raised concerns on the likelihood of another administration bearing the financial mess the current administration has created.
