PAWNEE CITY -- Pawnee City took their first step towards returning the the D6 State Championship game with a dominating win over Sioux County in their playoff opener. Pawnee City, the No. 4 seed in Class D6, defeated 13th-seeded Sioux County 55-22 Friday night at Pawnee City High School. Farwell had a 15 yard run that set up another five yard touchdown run by Farwell. Pawnee City led 55-8 midway through the fourth quarter before the Warriors scored twice late in the game to make the final score 55-22.
