Paula Radcliffe has become involved in a heated Twitter spat with one of the whistleblowers who exposed Lance Armstrong and confirmed she was the anonymous athlete who threatened to sue after it was reported she had had abnormal blood results during her running career. The British marathon world record holder exchanged angry tweets with Betsy Andreu, the wife of Armstrong’s former cycling team-mate Frankie. She was one of the first people to speak out about Armstrong’s doping before his confession in 2013. Andreu questioned Radcliffe on the social media platform after a BBC interview in which she appeared to downplay the four-year ban handed out to Mo Farah’s former coach Alberto Salazar, and queried the value of the US Anti-Doping Agency’s investigation.
