Gascoigne, the former midfielder who was regarded as one of the finest players of his generation, took part in the match on Sunday. And, despite playing with opponents who appeared to be much younger, the 52-year-old legend showed he hasn't lost his ability. Donning a Tottenham shirt and his trademark No.8, Gascoigne, who also enjoyed spells with Newcastle , Lazio, Rangers and Middlesbrough, even managed to notch a goal in the charity encounter over the weekend. Gazza's agent Shane Whitfield, whose brother was holding the charity match, also posted several snaps of the former England international in action. Gascoigne enjoyed some of his most successful days in England at Spurs after joining from boyhood club Newcastle for a then-British record of £2.2million in 1988.
