On Sunday, the Coronation Concert was held to celebrate King Charles III’s ascension to the throne. However, the event was lacking in star power, with Olly Murs and Take That headlining the show. But, the Coronation concert missed having venerable A-list troupe. The Coronation concert had a focus lacking in the platinum jubilee show, which tried to be all things to all people. This lack of star power left fans underwhelmed by the event.
