Any hope of the iconic Bluff Paua House exhibition returning to Southland have been dashed, with the exhibition having been sold to the Canterbury Museum. STACY SQUIRES/FAIRFAX NZ Ross Bowen, Fred and Myrtle Flutey's grandson, and Canterbury Museum director Anthony Wright in 2009, at the Paua House exhibition's first birthday. Canterbury Museum spokeswoman Vicki Blyth said the family had sold the collection to the museum. "They came to a conclusion it would be better appreciated [at the Canterbury Museum]."
