Patients stable, one in ICU, one discharged following Maheno crashOne person remains in intensive care in Dunedin Hospital following a serious crash near Oamaru. A Southern District Health Board spokeswoman confirmed on Monday that eight people remained in hospital following the crash on State Highway 1 at Maheno on Sunday. Nine people were taken to Dunedin Hospital following the crash, which happened about 6pm. "They all had patients on board and we brought the most serious patients to hospital." Police said a serious crash investigator from Invercargill went to the scene.
