A North Carolina pastor and two members of his church set out to rescue people from the floodwaters of Hurricane Florence, but ended up first finding some four-legged creatures who needed assistance. Matthew Drake, pastor at Richlands United Pentecostal Church, was seen in a now-viral video ― posted by CBS News correspondent Adriana Diaz on Twitter Friday afternoon ― carrying a soaked kitten through the rain in Jacksonville, North Carolina. HAPPENNING NOW: Pastor rescues kittens & dogs left behind in Jacksonville, NC where flooding has started. What they found, however, were two dogs and two cats in dire straits.
