Following the four-year prison sentence handed down to Obaapa Christy’s ex-husband, Pastor Love, it has been confirmed that he has filed an appeal. According to reports from the Accra High Court, Pastor Love is seeking bail to attend the appeal proceedings in person. The case, which dates back to 2017, resulted in Pastor Love being found guilty of theft, appropriation, and dishonesty. However, Pastor Love could not provide any evidence to substantiate his claims. During the trial, Pastor Love pleaded for leniency, citing his status as a first-time offender and expressing a willingness to pay any fine.
