Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has asked Kenyans to stop gossiping about her "good" husband and deputy president Rigathi Gachagua. She noted the DP is a good leader who was chosen by God to lead the country. “When you are around the country, you will hear people talk ill of the deputy president but sincerely speaking, he is a good leader,” she said. The second lady called on the opposition to give President William Ruto’s administration time to work for Kenyans. Also present was Bungoma deputy governor Jenipher Mbatiany, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa, Bungoma first lady Dr Margret Makelo, church leaders, Bungoma county senior staff and MCAs.
