The Southard family moved to Macon from Spokane, Wash., about seven years ago. Underneath, they found multiple Coca-Cola signs from the 1940s hidden in the exterior walls. In addition to the old Coca-Cola posters, there were also eight special military signs on another side of the house. The Southard family has been excited and surprised, but so has the whole community. The Southard family hopes to keep a few of the vintage posters for their own collection, but the rest of them will be auctioned off at Salt River Auctions in Macon.
