A boy was allegedly assaulted on a train on the Wairarapa Line between Lower Hutt and Greytown on Monday afternoon. A boy was left shaken after he was indecently assaulted on the Wairarapa Line train on Monday. Police were looking for witnesses to the incident which happened around 4:45pm while the boy was travelling to Wairarapa from the Hutt Valley. A police spokesperson said concerned members of the public intervened to help the boy who was allegedly assaulted by an unknown man.
