(Photo by Apichart Jinakul)The Transport Ministry plans to end the queues of interprovincial passenger vans at the Victory Monument and move them to Bangkok's bus terminals in October. "I admit that people who have used their services at the Victory Monument may be inconvenienced. So I will ask the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority to operate shuttle buses between Victory Monument and the three bus terminals," Mr Daroon said. The move was aimed at better controlling fares, ensuring passengers' safety, tackling influential people preying on passenger vans, and relieving traffic at the monument, he explained.
