Fromm completed 20 of 30 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns while Pickens tied a Georgia bowl record with 12 catches, amassing 175 yards and a score. Baylor scored on a 12-yard pass from Charlie Brewer to Denzel Mims. Baylor (11-3) scored again on its next possession to once again draw within 12, this time with Brewer running the football in from 1 yard out. Georgia’s Rodrigo Blankenship added field goals of 24 and 32 yards to account for the halftime score.
