According to him, the introduction of the fund raising platform is a move targeted at reducing corruption and ensuring that financing will not be only for the ‘big men’ in the party but for all party members which will allow them focus in development. He called on other political parties to emulate this system adopted by the NDC. “One of the areas to reduce corruption is really to find a way to raise financing in a way that is shared and I think the NDC is finding that formula. Allowing us to share that huge responsibility of party financing. “…I’m excited about this and I believe all political parties will once again learn from NDC’s lead.
