Police have repeated their warning about taking “party drugs” after two women were taken to hospital after using ecstasy. Morley said he did not believe Greater Manchester had an increasing problem with party drugs but that young people were not listening to advice. It is the second warning within a week, the first having been issued over ecstasy pills known as “MasterCard”. Greater Manchester police said the two 21-year-olds were left unconscious after taking the pills while at a nightclub on Princess Street in Manchester city centre. The Liverpool teenager had been at the Victoria Warehouse in Trafford, Greater Manchester, when she suffered “an adverse reaction” during the early hours of Monday.
