MANILA, Philippines — To make way for the annual Aliwan Fiesta, parts of Roxas Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday afternoon onwards. In an advisory, the Manila Police District (MPD) announced that the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to P. Ocampo, Manila, will be closed to motorists from 4 p.m. onwards. The actual closing and opening of affected roads will be based on actual traffic condition, the MPD said. Aliwan Fiesta is the annual festival of street-dancing held within the vicinity of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex. Organized by the Manila Broadcasting Company, Star City and CCP, the festival brings together key street-dance contingents from all over the Philippines.
