Wet weather on Monday night caused flooding across the region on Tuesday and there was still a lot of surface flooding on Wednesday morning. The Pahīatua Track closed early on Tuesday morning after a slip near Harrison Hill Rd blocked the road. Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency said contractors confirmed the Pahīatua Track and Ballance Valley Rd had reopened by 5.40pm on Tuesday.
