With every passing day, Vikram-Gautham Menon's spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram is getting bigger and better. With that said, Parthipan was supposed to play the prime antagonist in Dhruva Natchathiram when it was launched with Suriya. Speaking about the film, Parthipan was quoted by Silverscreen as saying, "I had seen the news of me playing the villain in the film on Twitter recently. Made on the lines of the Bourne series, Dhruva Natchathiram teaser opened to fantastic response from fans and has garnered more than 6 million views as of now. Dhruva Natchathiram is slated to release in August.
