Sharon Bradley was labelled a part-time accounting clerk and full-time thief by a victim of her serial theft. The 51-year-old stole $2 million dollars from a business run by a family she’d grown up alongside in Te Kūiti, and whose father had helped her shift one of her side businesses. Bradley used the money to help her family: for school fees and to prop up businesses, defence lawyer Sam Moore said at sentencing.
