Parramatta Eels overhaul constitution to end boardroom bickeringJames Brickwood/SMH Former Warriors and Parramatta Eels coach Daniel Anderson is one of a number of former Eels directors set to be barred from ever rejoining the board. Former Warriors NRL coach Daniel Anderson is among a number of former directors of the Parramatta Eels being barred from ever becoming a part of the team's future boardrooms in a move made to end infighting. Parramatta chairman and temporary leagues club administrator Max Donnelly has been seeking to improve the governance structures of the blue and golds and has landed on a series of proposed changes to the Eels constitution. While Donnelly was looking to cut leagues club spending on football operations, there was no financial justification for selling off one of the NRL's marquee franchises. Previously, board members of the Eels and PLC received honorariums of $10,000 for each role, although that will now be scrapped.
