The man who brutally murdered Scottish tourist Karen Aim when he was 14-years-old will remain in jail after being denied parole. He was declined parole in a hearing on Friday. Broughton was filmed alone smashing windows and doors around Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College shortly before he attacked Aim. Stuff 27-year-old Scottish tourish Karen Aim was beaten to death in 2008, when she was backpacking in New Zealand. This was Broughton's first appearance before the parole board.
