Or at least, the tale of Bonbibi — Goddess of the Jungle gives a different narrative. Sneak peek of the work of fiction sends ripples of eeriness down the spine, and Parno Mittrah and Sohini Sarkar enthral with their acting prowess in the teaser. The Rajdeep Ghosh directorial weaves a macabre and stark portrayal of survival in the Sundarbans, and the cinematography gives a theatre-like aura. Parno plays the role of Resham, a tourist guide in the film. Bonbibi — Goddess of the Jungle releases on March 1.
