Parliament calls for 5 changes in Law School exams after mass failure

The House is also asking the Ghana School Law (GSL ) to reduce the re-marking fee from ¢3,000 to ¢500 so the students can apply for re-marking. These were part of the five recommendations Parliament’s Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee made after it was petitioned by the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Law School. These recommendations come after the SRC petitioned Parliament last month after more than 80 per cent of the students who wrote last year’s exams failed. Also, it wants all the making schemes and examiner’s report made available to students and lecturers of the GLC. We hope that these problems will be solved so we have a better future for legal education,” he said.
