MUMBAI: Biscuits and confectionery maker Parle Products is aiming to increase its market share in the premium biscuits category to around 20 per cent in 2017-18 from 15 per cent now. "We will be expecting decent dividends coming in from our premium range. Having done that, we are seeing an increase in market share in that particular segment. We have seen our market share going up by almost 4-5 per cent in premium segment in last one year," he added.The premium biscuit category is estimated to be worth around Rs 5,000 crore, growing at 15-17 per cent. "While we expect rural to be the growth driver, the impact of rural growth coming in would only be seen in the next fiscal.
