The Park Theatre fundraiser will be the second benefit concert held in Winnipeg since the Fort McMurray wildfires began. Amber Johnston said she was so moved after seeing videos and pictures out of Fort McMurray, she decided to host a fundraiser in Winnipeg. The South Osborne theatre will host the benefit concert June 2. "Not only is it raising money for a good cause but it's also going to be a fun night, there's a chance to win really cool prizes," said Johnston of the Winnipeg fundraiser. The Alberta wildfire now sits at 504,443 hectares which is seven times the size of Edmonton.
