Norwich City have paid an undisclosed fee to Premier League club Brentford for midfielder Paris Maghoma. The 24-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Carrow Road and his arrival follows the signings of winger Ali Ahmed and full-back Harry Amass, the latter on loan from Manchester United. Maghoma has made eight Premier League appearances as a substitute but his only senior start for Brentford came in an FA Cup defeat at Plymouth 12 months ago. "I had a chat with the gaffer and it's a young group, something I could see myself being integrated into," he told BBC Radio Norfolk. "It's amazing - even though we're in the Championship right now, the whole environment is built for the Premier League so it's up to us guys on the pitch to do the job and get us there."
