A filing from the US Attorney's office in Massachusetts found some people photoshopped their kids' faces onto athletes' bodies to further sell the lie. It explained those involved in the scams "helped fabricate athletic 'profiles' and other documents to bolster the students college applications." It was explained in the filing, that the unnamed cooperating witness had previously helped a student, but his father's photoshop work wasn't up to standard. To which the cooperating witness replied, "[it] hasn't in 24 years". But the cooperating witness assured her, "she doesn't have to do anything".
