She told the New Zealand Herald this morning Rangiora High parents, Paul Finch and Jennifer Goulding set up the Givealittle page. Rangiora High School principal Peggy Burrows was fired in March, following a long-running stoush between her and her board of trustees. A Givealittle page set up to support a school principal fighting her controversial sacking has raised $700 in two days. The Ministry of Education said it was not involved in any way with Ms Burrows case. Subsequently the ministry sacked the Board of Trustees and Commissioner Bev Moore took control of the school in February last year.
