Parents fighting for terminally-ill son's life

Parents fighting for terminally-ill son's lifeEMILY FORD/FAIRFAX NZ Sanaz, left, and Nadim Truter with sons, Ayan, 1, and Arian, 5, are doing everything they can to help prolong Arian's life after he was diagnosed with aggressive brain tumours. With a prognosis of only eight to nine months, Arian's parents want to give him the best quality of life with the time they have left. He's not ready to talk about his sickness with his parents, but Sanaz and Nadim think Arian's more aware of his condition than he's letting on. Sanaz and Nadim want to do everything possible to help prolong Arian's life. "There are a lot of people who want to help us get Arian the life he deserves while he's here," Sanaz says.
