On the upside, my four children have lived in multiple cultures and have learned to be very adaptable. On the downside, we have far more logistical complexity than the average family. Throw in a pandemic – complete with abrupt colleges closures, travel restrictions, quarantine requirements… not to mention the virus itself (which four of six members in our family have now caught) - and that complexity goes through the roof.
