Congress leader and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi alleged that “from the FIR to investigation to action, everything has been suspicious”. The arrest of Pappu Yadav is yet another link in this chain of insensitivity. Mr. Yadav has recently been protesting in support of the family of a medical aspirant from Jehanabad district, whose alleged rape and death at a hostel in Patna sparked statewide protests.
