SUNDAY PUZZLE — Despite its title, I think this Samuel A. Donaldson/Doug Peterson production is really a bit of a love letter to paper. Most of my clutter could and should be digitized, but then where would this puzzle be — on your tiny phone? Early on, I fell for a bit of misdirection — “tramcar” for TRAMWAY and “bewitch” for BEGUILE — but crosses set me straight. I also stumbled on this riveting minor key version of YMCA, which could definitely be in a movie. 6A: When you’re “purchasing” something with a “proof” then it’s either a scientific formula (abstruse) or a bottle of hooch (ALCOHOL).
