Paolo Duterte catches COVID-19DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Davao Rep. Paolo Duterte has tested positive for COVID-19, his sister Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio said yesterday. Duterte confirmed that he contracted the virus after receiving the result of his RT-PCR or reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction test. The presidential son was placed in isolation at a hospital while his family is undergoing home quarantine. Duterte assured his constituents that he would continue to serve them even in isolation.
