According to some residents, most of them were initially complacent with the protocols but that position has been revised following the announcement that the region has recorded a case. A resident who told Ghanaweb that his position to adhere to the safety protocols has now been rekindled by that singular announcement. “The Bono East region recording a case has really put us on our toes because initially, we thought it wouldn’t come here but now it is here. The Bono East region on May 28, 2020, recorded its first of COVID-19, bringing the total number of affected regions in the country to 15.
