DILG: Fuertes is Panglao mayorIn a speech, Montero told employees that she was the rightful mayor. Fuertes also took the microphone and told the workers that he was the rightful mayor as per DILG order and reminded them to follow the law. Fuertes, however, said that it’s only the law that could make him leave the mayor’s office. “Per record and report, this Office was informed that respondent Mayor Montero re-assumed office as Mayor of Panglao, Bohol on Sept. 10, 2018 and continues to discharge her functions. Panglao town now has two mayors, two municipal administrators, one municipal vice-mayor and one town hall.
