Writing on his Facebook page, Mr Wanchai slammed the parties involved in the destruction of the house, calling the demolition of the building a "destruction of national heritage that sparked public outrage". The panels will forward their findings to the NACC for further action against those involved, Mr Wanchai said. He said senators raised questions over the issue during a recent meeting to make sure the case was not ignored. He said officials from the Fine Arts Department (FAD) previously confirmed the house had historical significance. Ms Kanprempree said the department will use teak wood and parts from the demolished building in a bid to restore the house to its former glory.
