Pampore attack: Driver who ferried the militants identified : India, News

Four days before the Pampore attack the driver, whose identity has been witheld, drove the four Lashkar-e-Taiba militants from Baba Raeshi and kept them in a safe house in Pulwama. The driver has gone underground since the day of the attack. Raids were conducted at various places in Pulwama after the Pampore attacks in which the security agencies found that it was a group of four 'fidayeens' behind the attack. The four 'fidayeens' (suicide attackers) infiltrated through the higher reaches of Gulmarg in north Kashmir and reached south Kashmir in a Tata Sumo vehicle. Two of the four terrorists were killed in swift action by the Quick Reaction Team(QRT) of CRPF during the attack while the third was killed in a gunfight in Malwari Newa village of Pulwama district on June 30.
