Hundreds of people joined protests calling for the end of the Oslo AccordsPalestinians took to the streets in Ramallah for the second day running today in protest at their government’s security co-ordination with Israel after a well-known activist was killed. Hundreds thronged around Manara Square chanting for the end of the Oslo Accords, the 1993 agreement between Palestinian leaders and Israel that led to the establishment of the Palestinian Authority (PA) as an interim government. Demonstrators held aloft posters of Basel al-Araj, the activist who was killed last week by Israeli forces in central Ramallah.
