Israeli settlers allegedly set fire to several vehicles and agricultural fields north of the West Bank city of Ramallah on Friday afternoon in clashes with Palestinians that left one man in critical condition, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported. The incidents occurred near the Palestinian villages of Turmus Ayya and al-Mughayyir north of Ramallah, in which Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian vehicles and fired gunshots in their direction, a security source told Haaretz. Clashes between settlers and Palestinian broke out as well. According to the source, Israel Defense Forces and Border Police forces arrived at the scene and dispersed those involved. “We were moving bales of hay when the settlers arrived with soldiers and started firing at us,” said Murad Abu Alia, who said he counted at least 25 settlers who descended from the Adei Ad outpost.
