Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas commended the support given by King Mohammed VI, and by the Moroccan government and people to the just cause of the Palestinian people on top of which the protection of the status of Al Quds. President Abbas, who received Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Ramallah, Tuesday, underscored the key role played by Al Quds Committee and Bayt Mal Al-Quds in support of flagship projects in the holy city. The meeting focused on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the impasse facing the political process due to the arbitrary Israeli measures and the US unfair decisions against the Palestinian cause, including the city of Al Quds. Bourita, for his part, reaffirmed Morocco’s steadfast position and its support and solidarity with the Palestinian leadership and people. Before his meeting with the Palestinian President, Bourita performed the midday prayers in al Aqsa Mosque.
