In a statement, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Malacañang is “deeply saddened” by the news of the demise of the 41st President of the United States. “The Palace is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of former President George Herbert Walker Bush of the United States of America,” he said. George Bush Sr. served as the 41st President of the United States and was credited for his foreign policy which saw the end of the Cold War.
